Just got the combination talking alarm as now required by state law. Testing out the alarm for the first time. It is much louder than it seems in the video, as the camera must have attenuated the microphone in response. The alarm should last 7 years after first power-up, according to the manual, mostly due to the CO sensor's lifespan. Battery operated with hard wired version available. Seems well made and a worthwhile purchase.
